Position Overview:
The coordinator will provide operations, membership, event, and program support to the Chamber’s Americas Department. This position reports to the senior vice president, Americas.
Responsibilities:
+ Help plan and execute programs and events for the Americas Department.
+ Support fundraising and member relations, including researching prospects, preparing proposals, compiling member updates, and maintaining contact databases.
+ Help manage the department budget, including tracking revenue and expenses and preparing and processing invoices.
+ Handle external communications with members, domestic and foreign government officials, and other stakeholders.
+ Prepare newsletters, briefing papers, and marketing materials.
+ Maintain and update the department’s website and social media.
+ Schedule appointments, draft correspondence, make travel arrangements, and prepare expense reports for the senior vice president.
+ Administer contracts with vendors, consultants, and partner organizations in coordination with the Chamber’s Legal Department.
+ Maintain electronic records and files.
+ Order and maintain supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ related work experience.
+ A self-starter and able to meet time-sensitive deadlines, multitask, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
+ Excellent project management and organization.
+ Strong writing, editing, and proofreading.
+ Events logistics experience.
+ Experience interacting with business executives and government officials.
+ Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
+ Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
The salary range for this position is $53,336.00 to $55,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
