Description
The RBI resource will possess strong refining or petrochemical plant industry experience in inspection, systemization/circuitization and Risk Based Inspection (RBI). Duties for this position will include performing the following: - Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Program Oversight - Unit systemization/circuitization - Equipment Data Collection - Inspection grading & scheduling.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
+ Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Planning and Project Implementation
+ Process Unit Systemization and Circuitization
+ Perform RBI assessments
+ Manage Inspection Plans
+ Create and or modify client data to allow for accurate:
o Damage Mechanisms
o PoF values
o CoF values
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Experience working in and managing projects in accordance with common RBI methodologies
+ Experience in IDMS implementation and usage
+ Must be knowledgeable in plant engineering and equipment data (specifications, equipment/piping drawings, vendor data packages, engineering/construction terminology) Minimum of 3 years experience in the inspection of pressure retaining equipment in the petrochemical industry is preferred
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent computer skills, must be familiar with Microsoft Office, maintenance/engineering software
+ Experience creating project status reports
+ Current and valid API 510, 570 and 653 is preferred
+ Strong Knowledge of API 650, 571, 580, 581, ASME VIII Div 1 & 2, and ASME B31 codes is a plus
+ B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgy is a plus.

+ Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
