Job Description:

+ Seeking an experienced Production Planner to support the manufacturing product line.

Responsibilities:

+ Work closely with Master Scheduling to understand build plan positioning, changes, and required flexibility.

+ Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.

+ Determine material requirements from production schedules and coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.

+ Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle in a short lead-time, high-mix manufacturing setting.

+ Track shortages and conduct shortage meetings with the procurement team; escalate critical shortages to management.

+ Review SAP queues and feedback from other planners, master schedulers, and procurement to assess build feasibility and identify blockers.

+ Contribute to SAP automation efforts and planning/procurement function optimization.

+ Identify and suggest updates to processes and procedures as needed.

+ Interact and communicate effectively across all departments and with senior internal personnel.

Experience:

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with 1–2 companies applying relevant skills.

+ Background in electronic manufacturing is preferred.

+ Hands-on experience with master scheduling, capacity planning, and circuit board manufacturing.

Skills:

+ SAP experience is non-negotiable; must be capable of deep system interaction and optimization.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

+ High attention to detail with no room for error—perfectionists are encouraged to apply.

+ Strong numerical and analytical skills.

+ Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams.

+ Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities and deadlines.

+ Capable of crafting documentation and working through higher-level tasking and system integration.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
