Eaton’s Electrical Services division is currently seeking a Master Software Configuration Specialist. This role is located out of Lafayette CO.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 a year.

The Digital Integration Solutions (DIS) group is a full-service systems integrator with the capabilities to integrate the necessary equipment and technologies, to provide a complete, power automation solution. This team of engineers and technicians brings extensive skills and experiences with a variety of leading HMI software packages enabling us to design graphically rich, easy-to-use operator interfaces that take advantage of the latest standalone or web-based technologies. Our experience transcends a multitude of equipment manufacturers, software packages, and network architectures, including all major OEMs HMI, PLCs, and components.
We offer single point responsibility, a high level of engineering and systems integration expertise, and a unified focus on cost effective solutions, seamless integration, HMI development, energy management tools, and professional turnkey system design and implementation.
The Master Software Configuration Specialist performs custom configuration of Foreseer, Power Xpert and other Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems per customer specifications, includes web based graphical user interface design and implementation.
What you’ll do:
+ Reviews electrical diagrams and factory drawing packages.
+ Prepares necessary floorplan and electrical oneline images from autocad or visio drawing packages for use in Foreseer, Power Xpert and other HMI systems.
+ Configures large enterprise wide, multi-site Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI software and web based graphical interface based on custom style guides.
+ Designs Webviews summary panels and equipment templates for Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI systems.
+ Designs graphical elements for dynamic electrical onelines and bus animation.
+ Performs QC of work per quality control checklist.
+ Performs PC configuration and testing.
+ Deploy's Power Monitoring HMI applications.
+ Presents Webviews editing training to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution
+ Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience working with Photoshop, illustrator, Flash, HTML, creative suite, photo manipulation, and web based graphical layout design programs.
+ Minimum 1 year of experience working within an engineering service or information systems service environment.
+ Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future
+ No relocation offered, candidates within 50-mile radius considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
Preferred Qualifications:
+ An Associate's degree in Information Systems or Electrical Engineering
+ AutoCAD Experience
+ Power Monitoring Systems integration experience
+ Working knowledge of Power Management software
Skills:
+ The candidate must possess excellent communications skills and must have the ability to interface with internal and external customers, salespeople, and other team members on a technical level.
+ Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are paramount.
+ Strong computer skills are required including intermediate to advanced skills with all Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
+ Proficient use of a web based graphics editing program and the entire Microsoft Office suite is required.
+ The candidate must have the ability to decipher engineering drawings.
