As a **Security Officer,** you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the site through alarm response, access control, and general security monitoring. We are looking for a Security Officer to work at our client facility in North Reading, MA.

Qualified candidates should have open availability. We are looking for individuals who can work any shift - 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

**Pay:** $24 per hour

**Location:** North Reading, MA

No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Duties:

+ Provide professional customer service to a client-facing site.

+ Heavy foot traffic location – looking for officer engagement and responsiveness with employees.

+ Control access (entrance and exit) to client site or facility through the admittance process.

+ Patrols, on foot to inspect building and grounds.

+ High level of observation skills.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, clients, and management.

+ Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents or suspicious activity.

+ Respond to emergency situations following procedures established for the site.

Position Requirements:

+ Authorized to work in the U.S.

+ 18 years of age or older

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Standard computer/technology skills needed

+ High level customer service skills needed

+ Must have strong de-escalation skills

+ Ability to be Safe Driver Certified (Valid Driver License and clean motor vehicle record)
