Job Description

As our Automated Passport Control Agent your primary role is to facilitate the smooth and efficient processing of passengers through automated passport control systems. You will guide passengers through self-service kiosks, ensuring accurate data entry, and verifying travel documents for international travelers. This position requires strong attention to detail and adherence to security protocols to maintain the integrity of border control processes. Additionally, you will provide assistance and support to passengers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the automated passport control process.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AUTOMATED PASSPORT CONTROL AGENT

+ You like working as a team, toward a common goal

+ Enjoy working with internal and external customers worldwide

+ Operate and manage automated passport control kiosks at the airport

+ Assist passengers in using the automated passport control systems

+ Ensure accurate data entry and scanning of travel documents

+ Provide guidance on immigration and customs procedures to passengers

+ Monitor the functionality of passport control kiosks and report any malfunctions

+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and regulations

+ You have very strong customer service skills

+ You have a great attention to detail

+ You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks

+ Like to build long term relationships with your customers

+ Physical activity may include:

+ Stand and walk for extended periods of time

+ Ability to lift 25 pounds or more

+ Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by an office environment

+ Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary

+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

+ Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and or fingers due to continuous typing or writing

Qualifications

+ Minimum age of 18 years old

+ Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents

+ 2 Years of customer service experience

+ Knowledge of the Aviation Industry

+ Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets

+ Ability to pass a drug screen

+ Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
