    Are you a motivated and skilled Junior Mold Maker seeking a new opportunity to enhance your expertise? If so, we have the perfect role for you! We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Junior Mold Maker to join our team and assist in the fabrication and repair of molds and components.

    Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate all types of mold fabricating equipment

    + Read and interpret mold drawings to ensure accuracy and precision

    + Make, alter, and repair molds and components of complex design

    + Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble injection molds to maintain optimal performance

    + Determine which mold components need repair or replacement to ensure proper gating, venting, and cooling of molds

    + Polish mold component finishes as required to maintain quality standards

    + Perform routine mold repairs and fabricate mold components via established methods

    + Performs development work, fitting and adjusting of mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances.

    + Fit and adjust mold components to maintain proper dimensional tolerances

    + Assist more experienced Mold Makers on large and complicated multi-cavity molds

    + Observe all safety and environmental procedures and QSR’s

    + Help keep Hoist inspected

    Qualifications:

    + H.S. Diploma/G.E.D.

    + Vocational/Technical School training or education in Machining, Toolmaker, or Tool & Die preferred

    + Minimum of 1-3 years Machinist or Tool & Die experience _OR in lieu Machining, Toolmaker, Tool & Die Certification._

    + EDM proficiency preferred

    + Must be available to work 12-hour night shifts. 7pm - 7am

    Work Environment:

    + BD is a smoke-free campus. Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on BD property, grounds or in the parking areas. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy

    + False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.

    + Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
