    SUMMARY:

    Provide quality, accurate and timely reviews of check deposits utilizing Online Banking Mobile Deposit. This position requires that the individual possess current knowledge of financial operations, ability to prioritize tasks and handles multiple issues. Responsibilities include monitoring daily check deposits, conducting research/reviews on digital transactions indicative of potential fraud. In addition, this individual is responsible for ensuring appropriate actions are taken based on these reviews to minimize potential fraud risk, documenting findings, and maintaining supporting documentation related to all reviews.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Review and decision all mobile deposits that kick out for manual review by the daily cutoff time (8 pm CST).

    + Must possess the ability to apply sound judgement, effectively solve problems and determine fraudulent activity consistently.

    + Maintain thorough knowledge of depository products/processes to ensure reviews are targeted effectively to mitigate new fraud risk and ensure processes are in line with regulatory requirements and bank procedures.

    + Work with various business partners to resolve complex issues.

    + Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

    + Must have excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with excellent follow through.

    + Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Perform all other related duties and special project as assigned.

    + Crosstrain on other jobs within Digital Risk as time permits and assist as needed.

    + Take appropriate actions based on reviews (file FIF’s, etc.)

    + Support other digital transaction related research, settlement and reconcilement work initiated by other departments who process digital-related payments and have out-of-balance conditions requiring Digital Banking Operations support to resolve said entries.

    + Address banker center and support team emails, as well as phone calls that are received related to these bodies of work in a timely manner.

    + Maintain a high level of confidentiality

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    + College degree or equivalent in experience

    + 2 – 3 years banking operations experience

    + Fraud experience preferred.

    + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    + Ability to organize and prioritize work.

    + Ability to identify, escalate, and assist in resolving systemic issues and/or process breakdowns.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Ability to define and implement workflow.

    + Strong interpersonal skills

    + Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong critical thinking skills

    + Strong analytical skills
