Your role and responsibilities
UX Research Lead, IBM Corporation, San Jose, CA:
* Define, prioritize, and execute a program of research using a range of methodologies including quantitative behavioral analysis and leveraging the principles of Human Computer Interaction (HCI).
* Lead a team of researchers help drive best practices for research methods, lead by example, mentor junior researchers, and contributing to the creation of repeatable processes that enable a UX research organization to grow and scale.
* Analyze study data using statistical software such as SPSS Statistics and R Studio and visualization software such as Cognos Analytics to communicate findings in compelling and actionable manner.
* Work with the leadership on the product side and utilize deep understanding of AI/ML Lifecycle frameworks to inform direction of products that leverage cutting-edge technologies and concepts including Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Machine Learning (ML), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
* Utilize: Human Computer Interaction (HCI) principles, quantitative behavioral data analysis, SPSS Statistics, RStudio, Cognos Analytics, AI/ML Lifecycle management methodologies.
Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, Data Science, Human Computer Interaction or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a UX Researcher, UX Designer, UX Research Team Lead or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Human Computer Interaction (HCI) principles, quantitative behavioral data analysis, SPSS Statistics, RStudio, Cognos Analytics, AI/ML Lifecycle management methodologies. WJ147. $227428 to $235000 per year. Full time.
Required technical and professional expertise
