Product Safety Labs is looking for a scientist candidate experienced in reproductive toxicology to support our team in Dayton, NJ.

Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Set-up and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOP's.

+ Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.

+ Prepare test solutions and diets in accordance with directions.

+ Perform Dose administration, mating procedures, c-section and fetal evaluations.

+ Collect blood, urine, fecal and tissue specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures and protocols.

+ Meticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with good laboratory practices.

+ Assist in writing of reports.

+ Follow all PSL safety requirements.

+ Ability to safely wear a respirator required

+ Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate would possess:

+ Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

+ Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

+ At least 3 years of experience in reproductive toxicology or equivalent invivo background.

+ Bachelor's degree in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science or biology is preferred, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

+ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Dayton, New Jersey are encouraged to apply.
