    JOB SUMMARY

    The Business Analyst, Online Retail Strategy manager is responsible for supporting the pricing and promotion strategy and execution for the direct-to-consumer Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques retail business. This person will be highly analytical, able to monitor customer response to pricing and promotions across channels and recommend specific actions. They will, additionally, assist with projecting inventory needs based on historical trends and in-year planned activities. Additional support may include assisting with onsite testing, customer analysis, and ad hoc analytical questions.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience Required

    • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Retail Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management or other relevant field

    • 6 or more years of relevant professional experience in analytics, consulting, retail, or a related field demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.

    • Strong project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to coordinate across multi-functional project teams to drive concrete results and actions.

    Education and Experience Preferred

    • MBA preferred.

    • Experience with PowerPoint, and Excel.

    • Experience with database tools.

    • Experience with retail data, pricing, and promotions.

    • Experience with Salesforce or other retail ecommerce platform.

    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

    + Provides data-driven insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making

    + Delivers compelling presentations to leadership on recommendations

    + Supports various functions with ad hoc analyses to set strategy and improve business results

    + Analyzes impacts of pricing and promotions and provide insights on customer response

    + Assists in determining pricing and promotion strategy

    + Assists in determining inventory strategy

     

    Hybrid Position.

     

    **Maryland Applicants Only** : The salary range for this position is $108,300 to $135,000 annually.

    **New York Applicants Only** : The salary range for this position is $119,100 to $148,500 annually.
