Kane's Furniture is seeking a talented General Manager In Training looking to become our next General Manager in Central FL.

Job Summary
The Furniture Retail Store General Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and achievement of sales and profitability goals. This role involves managing daily operations, leading and motivating staff, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring adherence to company policies. The General Manager also develops strategies to drive revenue growth, enhances store merchandising, and fosters a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and monitor sales performance and profitability.
+ Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring high morale and productivity.
+ Implement merchandising strategies to enhance the store’s visual appeal.
+ Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and employees.
+ Resolve customer issues and maintain high satisfaction levels.
+ Prepare sales reports and communicate with upper management regarding store performance.
+ Stay updated on furniture industry trends and competitors.

Required Skills:
+ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
+ Proven experience in retail management - minimum of five years
+ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
+ Proficiency in retail software and sales reporting tools.
+ Strong customer service focus and ability to handle conflicts effectively.
+ Critical thinking and a high level of accountability
