    What we’re looking for…

     

    + Candidates with 1-3 years of entry writing experience and familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations, or candidates with 1+ years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

    + Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.

    + Cargowise is a plus.

    About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

    + Prepares customs entries for all import shipments to be submitted to and released from U.S. Customs in a timely manner.

    + Ensures that all entries are properly classified by using tools such as company profiles, CROSS (Customs Rulings Online Search System), Internet and communicating with the Importer of record.

    + Creates invoices for duty and entry charges to be sent to the Billing Department.

    + Develops and maintains customer profiles based on the customer’s shipment history.

    + Coordinates with customers to classify new commodities per according to HTS.

    + Answers any Brokerage related inquiries internally and externally.

     

    Work Schedule

     

    St. Louis Office 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST (Rotational overtime on Sundays)

     

    Computer Skills

     

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Office.

     

    Education & Experience

     

    + Associate's degree preferred.

    + 1-3 years of entry writing experience.

    + Customs Brokerage License and/or CCS Certification is a plus.

     

    Salary

     

    $55,000-$65,000 annually based on education and experience level.
