    Our well established client in Huntington, WV is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Finish Carpenter** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end carpentry, with a strong eye for precision and craftsmanship. As a finish carpenter, you will be responsible for the final touches that bring a space together, including installing trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, and other fine woodwork.

     

    Pay: 16.00 per hour - with hire earning potential based on experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Measure, cut, and install trim, baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and door frames

    + Build and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and other woodwork elements

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders

    + Ensure all work is level, aligned, and matches design specifications

    + Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively

    + Sand, stain, or paint wood surfaces as needed

    + Collaborate with contractors, designers, and clients to ensure quality results

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar role

    + Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials

    + Ability to read technical documents and drawings

    + Excellent measuring and math skills

    + Attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship
