    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Systems Administrator in the Houston, TX area. In this position, the Systems Admin will help maintain a mixed Linux/Windows environment by supporting software developers and engineers working on human spaceflight projects. This person will we be responsible for maintaining Active Directory, AZURE/Entra assets, and Microsoft Government Cloud. They will establish site configurations and end-point systems, with an emphasis on automation, Configuration-as- Code, and security.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    6+ years of experience in systems administration role

     

    Bachelors degree in IT, Information Science, Computer

     

    Science, Engineering, or similar

     

    Linux and Windows administration experience

     

    Windows Server and Azure/Entra experience

     

    Strong knowledge and experience automating workflows Government cloud experience

     

    Network based OS deployment experience (PXE/iPXE)

     

    Virtualization platform experience (Azure, ESXi, Proxmox)

     

    Previous experience working in a hybrid environment

    Experience setting up automation null
