Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Commissioning Engineers to join one of our largest Cx agents in the world. These positions will support the construction and commissioning of data centers. This position requires 100% travel, three weeks on the road and one week home.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with specific experience in data center or other mission-critical projects. This role involves overseeing the electrical/mechanical systems from design through to implementation, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Commissioning Planning: Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules for data center projects.
- System Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operational requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
- Coordination: Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all systems are installed and functioning according to industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Training: Provide training and support to operations staff on newly commissioned systems.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center projects.
- Experience with L1-L5 commissioning in data centers.
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). null
