Job Description
The Souring Specialist will be responsible for running supplier engagements for new products that we have. This person will be establishing meetings with suppliers to discuss and present specific projects including scope and strategy and handling communications leading up to RFP/RFI process for a small yet strategic part of the business. Its critical the Sourcing Specialist keeps the supplier engaged. This person will be managing around 3 engagements at all times and can work with a pool of around 5 7 suppliers, each lifecycle taking around 3 months. This person will be working closely with the manager who will be involved on the strategic engagement.

Skills and Requirements
1. Supply Chain Sourcing experience
2. Experience with RFI/RFP process able to communicate with senior stakeholders.
3. Experience with Supply Agreements, Contract Manufacturing, contract negotiation.
4. Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks proficient with functionality like vlookups pivot tables etc.
5. 3 years of experience in medical devices industry being aware of the complexities of the regulated industry. 4. Experience with e-sourcing tools (e.g., Keelvar).
5. Experience with Supplier Risk Management understanding if there are any suspected risks with suppliers based on communication, whats behind proposals, etc.
6. Knowledge of NPD projects workflows understanding of standard processes rlated to NPD
7. Experience with Service and Repair contracts. null
