    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer to be located in the Colorado Springs area. Provide technical expertise and support in collecting and interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques and software development of new capabilities as well as integration into the existing program software framework. Handling these software components' requirements, documentation, and testing is also a major role responsibility. While the primary focus will be data analysis and software development/integration, algorithm prototyping and development support for the Missile Defense System may also be required.

     

    PR: 50-78/hr DOE

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.

     

    Secret clearance or higher

     

    3-7+ years of experience in software engineering and development

     

    Experience with data analysis and Java, MATLAB, or Python

     

    Familiarity with Java foundation classes, toolkits, and server-side/database development.

     

    Experience working as part of an Agile team, with flexibility to adapt to unanticipated tasks.

     

    Proficiency with software development tools such as Git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven or Gradle, and Eclipse.

     

    Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows platforms, software integration testing, and developing automated test scripts. Security+ or equivalent
