    Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., we've launched devices such as Fire tablets, Fire TV, Dash Button, Amazon Echo and Alexa. What will you help us create? As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with consumer application testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned QAE professionals.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Create test strategy, test plans and test cases

     

    - Review user interfaces for conformity and functionality

     

    - Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products

     

    - Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines

     

    - Isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution

     

    - Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process

     

    - Develop test automation libraries and scripts using Java

     

    - Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture

     

    - Triage issues, react well to changes, and work with teams

     

    - Maintain Devices Automation lab by setting up lab infrastructure.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree

     

    - Experience in manual testing

     

    - Experience in automation testing

     

    - Experience in Java/Perl/Python based automation

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience in API & Mobile testing

     

    - Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
