Prior experience with consumer facing products, GUI/VUI consumer experience creation, interactive device development and 3P partner relationships will be critical components of this role. Key job responsibilities

As a Sr Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for building Audio-related features on Alexa, acting as an agent to get things done for customers. You will own a charter focusing on core audio resource linking, settings management and customer education related to personalization and identity. In parallel to defining and building new capabilities, you will drive product expansion across multiple audio media types, service partners, international locales, and device types. This role is cross-functional — you will work closely with engineering, science, design, business intelligence, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features to customers. A successful candidate must be customer obsessed, very comfortable with product and organizational ambiguity, and able to communicate and deliver effectively in a matrixed organization.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience managing technical products or online services

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
