    Amazon's Security’s Customer Service Security (CSS) team is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager to join our organization. CSS is the first line of defense protecting our Customers and their interests from technical & malicious adversaries, seeking to steal their data and/or cause them harm. As a Technical Program Manager on the CSS team, you will partner with our teams in addressing information security issues facing the largest Customer Service and Logistics operation in the world, where customer obsession equals protection.

     

    In this high-impact role, you will work at the cross roads of security engineering and technical program management; collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to identify, prioritize, and resolve security risks. Leveraging your strong technical expertise and program management skills, combined with a deep passion for customer protection, you will drive the development of scalable solutions that bolster our security posture and safeguard our customers' data and interests. You will be responsible for continuously enumerating and prioritizing known security threats, then clearly communicating risk information and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will support the development of security awareness training, collaborate to eliminate security defects, and ensure compliance with best practices across the organization. As a technical leader, you will influence operational excellence and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives within the CSS team. Additionally, you will actively mentor junior engineers, helping to grow their skills, knowledge, and ability to protect our customers.

    - Actively mentor junior engineers, improving their skills, their knowledge of our systems, and their ability to protect the customer.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

     

    - 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

     

    - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

     

    - Understanding of SDLC and Architecture System Design with the ability to ensure functionality and tradeoffs in terms of scalability, maintainability, extensibility, performance, and security

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

     

    - 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

     

    - Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)

     

    - Knowledge and experience with hunting utilizing TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures).

     

    - Proven experience with AWS products and services

     

    - Extensive knowledge of computing security issues and threat vectors

     

    - Effective written, communication and organizational skills.

     

    - Ability to create and contribute to intelligence reports, briefings, roadmaps, and strategic planning documents

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
