The **Facility Operations Supervisor** will be responsible for plant operations including, but not limited to, unit operations, start-ups, shutdowns, emergency coordination and personnel management.

+ Performs multiple site-specific plant operations, including, but not limited to, unit operations start up’s, shutdowns, and emergency coordination.

+ Supervises multiple employees, participates in hiring/firing, conducts performance management, develops junior employees

+ Ensure team is trained for proper operation of the units

+ Ensures that employees follow and maintain all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures, holds employees accountable.

+ Ensures that supervised operations/employees understand and have accountability for compliance standards.

+ Works under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager or equivalent

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.

+ Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and required needs of the Clean Harbors business

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors Company?

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ 3+ years Supervisory, Foreman or Management experience managing teams in an Industrial/Plant environment preferred

+ Refinery experience or Oil and Gas experience is a plus!

+ Knowledge of rotating equipment, distillation, hydrotreating processes

+ Forklift experience

+ Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, written and verbally

+ Leader with integrity who leads by example

+ Computer proficiency

+ MS Office Suite – Excel, Word and Outlook

+ Ability to work a rotating shift (nights and days)

+ Must have the ability to be trained as an emergency coordinator
