Doing a lot on the frontend with accessibility to start

They have some work oanned out in integrating promotion engine

Doing maintenance work with core team. Updating versions of Node, Go and secruoty vulnerability work. Might pick up backlog of cart and checkout team as well Looking for manuel, alexis and Daniel, Diego

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend engineers, test automation engineers, UX designers, and Scrum Masters to continuously enhance customer experience.

Develop and maintain modular frontend web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and testability.

Participate in the development and updating of shared component libraries to enable rapid iteration and consistent development practices.

Mentor and coach mid-level and junior developers, fostering a sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

Cultivate a positive team atmosphere that encourages open communication, creative problem-solving, and innovative thinking.

Translate functional requirements into responsive components and pages with a mobile-first mentality, championing accessibility best practices.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications.

Contribute to code reviews and automated testing efforts, ensuring code quality and meeting coverage targets.

Participate in an on-call rotation with the entire digital and engineering organizations, including Directors and members of the Product team.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years experience

Front end is React BE is GO

Go work if they work with Cart, its gateway pattern.

They have to have experience working in BE and WANT to work in GO

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years of production software development using JavaScript ES6, HTML5, and CSS3.

4+ years of experience with React or React Native, particularly with functional components and hooks.

4+ years of experience with statically typed languages such as Go, C, C++, or Rust.

Solid understanding of server-side rendering (SSR), asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in Redux, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases.

Commitment to high-quality coding practices, including comprehensive documentation, active participation in code reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development.

Passion for staying current with the latest software tools and methodologies.

Intellectual curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. null
