• Business Development Manager (Low Voltage Systems)

    Job Description

    An employer in Orange County, CA is seeking a Business Development Manager to join the Low Voltage Systems team. This person will be responsible for putting together bid packages for net new pursuits. They will pull together data to prequalify opportunities and be the face/lead pursuits. Also heavily responsible for building relationships with general contractors, traveling to customer worksites to foster in-person relationships and collect feedback from stakeholders after bid award to understand final decision and where to come in next time on bids. Typically working on putting together 3-4 pursuits/bids at one time (60+ over the course of a year).

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5-15 years of Business Development (outside sales) working with general contractors or project managers in construction space

     

    - Background in audio-visual (AV), telecommunications, security systems or general contracting - Experience with Salesforce CRM

    - Bachelor's Degree null
