Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Sr IT Manager to be responsible for overseeing the support, maintenance, and optimization of the clients Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the WMS aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

WMS Management: Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of the WMS to meet operational needs.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including data managers, engineers, and architects.

Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WMS-related issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Skills and Requirements

7 years of experience required, 10+ preferred, of working with a WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or supporting a supply chain industry from a technical standpoint.

o Oracle warehouse management, SAP extended warehouse management (EWM), Blue Yonder.

o Cloud based platform experience: AWS/Azure/GCP

3+ years of experience leading teams in support of multiple locations, across different teams like development, cloud, implementation.

o Prior experience interacting with stakeholders, as well as taking requirements.

o Project management expertise in planning and completing large and small projects

Knowledge of database management, network architecture, integration, cloud/onprem platforms, and ERP system integration.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required. Previous leadership within support-based services for a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly preferred
