    Compensation: $76.00 per hour, Paid Time off, Company 401k contributions, Health, dental, and vision insurance.  Total Annual Compensation including benefits is $ 175,000.00

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI Engineer with a strong background in programming, data integration, and dashboard creation. This role involves onboarding and integrating data from MongoDB into Power BI to support a cybersecurity vulnerability and asset repository. The ideal candidate will have experience programmatically connecting MongoDB to Power BI and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SLC). Additionally, experience with Python and scripting for data automation, and integrating Active Directory groups into asset roles is required.

    Responsibilities:

    + Data Integration and Onboarding:

    + Programmatically integrate and onboard data from MongoDB into Power BI.

    + Develop and maintain data connections to ensure data integrity and consistency.

    + Automate data loads using Python and scripting to streamline processes.

    + Dashboard Development:

    + Design and build intuitive user interface dashboards in Power BI for cybersecurity vulnerability and asset repository.

    + Create dynamic and interactive visualizations to present complex data in an easily understandable format.

    + Active Directory Integration:

    + Integrate Active Directory groups into asset roles within Power BI.

    + Manage user permissions and access controls based on Active Directory roles.

    + Documentation and Training:

    + Develop comprehensive documentation for data integration processes, dashboard usage, and maintenance.

    + Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.

    + Software Development Lifecycle:

    + Apply a strong understanding of the SLC to manage project timelines and deliverables.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives.

    Requirements:

    + Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    + Experience:

    + 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Power BI and MongoDB integration.

    + Proven experience programmatically integrating MongoDB data into Power BI (beyond using Power BI Desktop).

    + Hands-on experience with Python and scripting for data automation.

    + Technical Skills:

    + Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and M query language.

    + Strong knowledge of MongoDB and its integration with other systems.

    + Experience with Python and scripting for data processing and automation.

    + Understanding of Active Directory and role-based access controls.

    + Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SLC) methodologies.

    + Soft Skills:

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Certifications in Power BI, MongoDB, or related technologies.
