    Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for a **Manufacturing Analyst/Principal Manufacturing Analyst** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Carson, California.

     

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Manufacturing Analyst/Principal Manufacturing Analyst** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating inventory control, receiving, storage, and shipping operations. The **Manufacturing Analyst/Principal Manufacturing Analyst** will be fluent in all aspects of property control activities, including the use of SAP (Systems Applications and Products) and LOOIE (Logistics Operations Optimization and Integration Environment). Proficiency in forklift operations, with extensive knowledge of large forklift operations, as well as tug and transporter moves, is essential for this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Plan, coordinate, and oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.

    + Implement and manage property control activities ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

    + Utilize SAP and LOOIE systems to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.

    + Operate forklifts, including large forklift operations, safely and effectively; conduct transporter and tug moves as necessary.

    + Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

    + Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and hazard-free warehouse.

    + Monitor and analyze inventory control, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy and identify potential issues.

    + Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve workflow efficiency.

    + Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

    + Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

    This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    Basic Qualifications (Level 2):

    + High school diploma or equivalent plus 7 years of experience in warehouse operations, including inventory control and logistics; 3 Years with Bachelor’s degree; 1 Years with Master’s degree

    + Proven proficiency in SAP system.

    + Extensive experience with forklift operations, particularly large forklifts, and proficient in tug and transporter moves.

    + Current and active SCI Clearance

    Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

    + High school diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, including inventory control and logistics; 6 Years with Bachelor’s degree; 4 Years with Master’s degree

    + Proven proficiency in SAP system.

    + Extensive experience with forklift operations, particularly large forklifts, and proficient in tug and transporter moves.

    + Current and active SCI Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

    + Strong leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    + Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).

    + Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

    + Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, noisy).

     

    Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00Salary Range 2: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
