A Snapshot of Your Day
Your daily activities as a Production Tester, 2** **nd** **shift,will include reading engineering documentation, testing electrical equipment,and working with your colleagues to tackle problems as they arise. If you enjoya fast-paced production environment, being challenged, understand that everycustomer and every drawing is different, and where every day is different, thenthis is a great opportunity for you! We provide training starting on the 1stday for 90 days to ensure you’re off to a strong start! Training hours are 1stshift and then you’ll move to 2nd shift, 3:00PM – 11PM, as your regular hours.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ **Responsiblefor troubleshooting circuitry designs.**
+ **Wework closely with Engineering Dept. to ensure all aspects of product areviable and ensure all test requirements are fulfilled.**
+ **We paystrong attention to detail in time constraint in manufacturing productionenvironment.**
+ **Wetest the Product’s electrical and mechanical functions.**
+ **Youwill work both independently and as part of a team.**
+ **Beingopen for improvement and always aiming to excel and learn will allow forgrowth.**
What You Bring
+ **Musthave an Associate's Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering; 2years of work experience in electrical wiring / testing preferred OR musthave a High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of work experience inelectrical wiring / testing is required.**
+ **Abilityto read and interpret Electrical drawings, AC/DC circuits, and physicalwiring is required.**
+ **Mustbe safety conscious and aware of surroundings when in the testing area.**
+ **Mustbe familiar with Electrical testing equipment, meters, hi-potential groundtester, and current transformer testing.**
+ **Someexperience with High Voltage Testing is a plus.**
+ **Mustbe flexible for OT, Mon. – Fri. and weekends as needed.**
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited States without need for current or future employer-sponsored workauthorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may beeligible for internal transfers.
