• Accounting Manager

    Description

    Our client, a highly regarded Nonprofit organization, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team.

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

    - Preparing financial statements and forecasting reports

     

    - Supervising daily accounting operational functions

     

    - Reviewing and preparing journal entries

     

    - Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budgeting

     

    - Overseeing quarterly and year-end closings

     

    - Regularly providing updates to Controller

     

    - Assisting with tax compliance and tax filing preparation

     

    - Handling ad hoc duties as needed

    Requirements

    - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

     

    - 5+ years of experience

     

    - Previous foundation/nonprofit experience preferred

     

    - Background in public accounting is a plus

     

    - Experience with investment accounting a plus
