Description We are looking for a dedicated Software Engineer to join our innovative team in New Castle, Delaware. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions for cutting-edge thermal analysis and rheological instruments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop software applications, user interfaces, and data analysis tools for advanced scientific instruments.

• Evaluate system requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues while ensuring optimal system performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to implement and test software designs.

• Write and maintain clear documentation in alignment with coding standards and quality guidelines.

• Develop and execute automated and manual tests to validate software functionality.

• Provide accurate work estimates and track progress to support project planning.

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve software quality, processes, and personal technical skills.

• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.

• Offer technical support and guidance to internal and external users as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience with C# or .NET programming, with strong proficiency in applying technical standards.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

• Proven ability to analyze systems, make design decisions, and adapt to emerging technologies.

• Demonstrated passion for software development with an eye for quality and design.

• Experience with tools and technologies such as Android development, API development, and backend systems.

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, bug tracking, and Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of ASP.NET, C++, and other relevant programming languages or frameworks. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
