Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while leading a team and maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll team and ensure accurate and timely processing for all employees.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations while staying updated on changes in legislation.

• Utilize Workday and other payroll systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

• Manage payroll audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to align payroll processes with organizational goals.

• Administer benefits-related payroll functions, including 401k and RRSP contributions.

• Prepare detailed payroll reports using tools like Crystal Reports for management review.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and promptness.

• Implement process improvements to optimize payroll operations. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll management or supervision, ideally within the real estate or property industry.

• Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Workday.

• Familiarity with auditing and accounting functions related to payroll.

• Expertise in benefits administration, including 401k and RRSP contributions.

• Proficiency in reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and develop a team.

• Ability to interpret and apply payroll-related laws and regulations.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
