    Description

    Robert Half is actively seeking an Account Specialist to join a growing client’s team in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel in managing account operations, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring accurate financial data.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage client account records, ensuring all information is up to date and accurate in the system.

    + Process and track payments, invoices, and client-related financial transactions with precision.

    + Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to inquiries.

    + Monitor account balances, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of any outstanding issues.

    + Work collaboratively with internal teams, including accounting, sales, and customer service, to manage account operations efficiently.

    + Prepare and distribute account status reports to internal stakeholders and clients.

    + Assist with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and reporting as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

    Requirements

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    + 1-3 years of experience in a role involving accounts management, accounts payable/receivable, or client services.

    + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).

    + Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and financial transactions.

    + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
