    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    + Automation Framework Development:

    + Design and implement comprehensive automation testing frameworks to enhance the efficiency of the software testing process

    + Maintain and optimize testing scripts to adapt to development changes and updates.

    + Test Planning and Execution:

    + Develop and maintain automated test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.

    + Execute and monitor automated tests, such as smoke, regression, and performance testing.

    + Defect Identification and Resolution:

    + Analyze test results, isolate software issues, and create detailed defect reports for the development team.

    + Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure continuous integration and delivery.

    + Collaboration and Communication:

    + Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and business analysts to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with user requirements.

    + Provide updates on QA testing progress and automation initiatives to project stakeholders.

    + Tool Utilization and Best Practices:

    + Leverage industry-standard tools like Selenium, Cypress, Jenkins, or equivalent to create robust test scripts.

    + Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in automation testing to optimize QA processes.

    + Data Management:

    + Generate test data and configure testing environments to support automated test execution

    + Ensure data integrity and security during testing phases.

     

    Qualifications and Skills

     

    + Technical Expertise:

    + Excellent understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or similar platforms.

    + Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for creating and maintaining scripts.

    + Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitHub Actions for automated testing pipelines.

    + Analytical Skills:

    + Strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and document technical and functional issues.

    + Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights

    + Testing Methodologies:

    + Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience in test strategy development.

    + Experience with performance, security, and API testing.

    + Experience:

    + 3+ years of experience in automation testing and QA processes.

    + Background in software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance life cycle (QALC).

    + Certifications (Preferred):

    + ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or equivalent QA certification.
