    Description

    Growing firm in New York City is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their expanding team.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    + Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

    + Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.

    + Prepare and maintain financial reports following company procedures.

    + Utilize QuickBooks for data entry, bookkeeping, and month-end processes.

    + Work closely with the finance team to support audits and track budgetary performance.

    + Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial information.

    Requirements

    + Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

    + 2+ years of accounting experience (required).

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks (highly preferred).

    + Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial tools.

    + Exceptional organization and communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
