    Description

    Robert Half has partnered with an expanding, healthcare client on their search for an Accounting Analyst with strong US GAAP knowledge. This Accounting Analyst role will be responsible for assisting with the month end close process, due diligence, compiling financial data, performing balance sheet account reconciliations, reviewing and processing journal entries, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience working in ERP systems, possess the skill and ability to review and resolve daily accounting discrepancies, and strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Observe accounting operations

    • Prepare multi-state payroll journal entries

    • Execute the month end process

    • Assist with financial accounting in reference to payroll

    • Prepare monthly billings

    • General Ledger Reconciliations

    • Review monthly payroll liabilities

    • Process account adjustments

    • Calculate monthly payroll accruals

    • Keep abreast of tax regulations

    • Ad hoc projects

    Requirements

    The ideal Accounting Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

    Other requirements for the Accounting Analyst role include and are not limited to:

    • 2+ years of payroll reporting experience

    • Proven US GAAP knowledge

    • Familiarity with Oracle and/or Workday is a plus

    • Excellent analytical and communication skills

    • Must have strong experience with MS Excel & MS Word
