Compensation Analyst
A client of ours is looking for a Compensation Analyst for a contract role. The successful candidate will manage and optimize incentive programs for both sales and non-sales teams. You’ll play a crucial role in aligning pay strategies with business goals, ensuring accurate incentive payouts, and delivering performance insights through data analysis.
Responsibilities of Compensation Analyst
+ Administer and enhance incentive compensation plans
+ Calculate monthly commissions, bonuses, and adjustments
+ Create and distribute reports to Sales and Senior Management
+ Partner with Sales, Finance, and Payroll teams
+ Communicate incentive program details to employees
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications of Compensation Analyst
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience
+ 3+ years in compensation, incentives, or a related role
+ Advanced degree or certifications (MBA, CPA, SHRM-CP) is preferred
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
+ Experience with Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems preferred
+ Solid understanding of incentive plan design and compensation software/HRIS systems
+ Analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
+ Background in managing both sales and non-sales incentive plans preferred
