Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Dallas, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and managing benefit reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and organized environment while utilizing your expertise in payroll systems.
Responsibilities:
• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation, ensuring all files are organized and up to date.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, fiscal year-end, and calendar year-end reports.
• Reconcile employee benefits such as 401k and other retirement plans, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and About Time for payroll and auditing tasks.
• Monitor payroll-related compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
• Conduct audits of payroll processes and systems to identify and implement improvements.
• Assist with benefit administration tasks, including enrollment and reconciliation processes. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Proficiency in using payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce, and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of benefit functions, including 401k or RRSP administration.
• Familiarity with auditing processes related to payroll and financial reporting.
• Ability to prepare and analyze detailed financial reports.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
