Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager with expertise in application development projects and a strong background in financial management. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions while ensuring projects remain on track, within scope, and on budget. This individual will serve as a critical liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and financial managers to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality projects in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

+ Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end application development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery in alignment with company goals and timelines.

+ Team Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, QA analysts, and UI/UX designers, ensuring effective communication, alignment with objectives, and delivery of milestones.

+ Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, track progress, and provide consistent updates on deliverables and budget adherence.

+ Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and adherence to financial plans. Collaborate with financial teams to forecast costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.

+ Risk Management: Identify risks in both application development and budgeting processes and deploy mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

+ Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs for project timelines, resource utilization, quality assurance, and financial outcomes.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

+ Technical Expertise:

+ Solid understanding of application development lifecycles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum), and emerging technologies.

+ Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools for project tracking.

+ Financial Acumen:

+ Proven experience managing project budgets with precision.

+ Knowledge of financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting.

+ Managerial Skills:

+ Strong ability to lead diverse teams with excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

+ Experience mentoring junior project managers and team members.

+ Certifications (Preferred):

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

+ Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

+ Background in finance or accounting certifications is a plus.

+ Industry Knowledge:

+ Experience working within high-demand industries such as technology, financial services, healthcare, or government sectors is highly desirable.
