Description We are in the market for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, stationed in Torrance, California. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with handling customer credit applications and maintaining precise records. Your role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications using accounting software systems.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit and cash activities.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on their status.

• Handle high-volume invoicing and billing functions.

• Manage collections, including commercial collections.

• Resolve customer inquiries using CRM and Epic Software.

• Conduct research on deductions and chargebacks.

• Handle cash and manage accounts receivable.

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions.

• Work with EDI - Electronic Data Interchange for transaction and specialist roles. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Familiarity with Epic Software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in executing Billing Functions

• Experience in Cash Activity and Cash Handling

• Knowledge of Deductions

• Experience as an EDI Specialist

• Familiarity with EDI Transaction and EDI - Electronic Data Interchange

• Proven experience in High-Volume Invoicing

• Experience in Collections and Collections - Commercial

• Knowledge of Credit - Collections and Commercial Collections

• Proven track record in Collections Management
