Description
We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Senior Accountant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights through comprehensive financial analysis. Your expertise in private equity, budgeting, and financial reporting will be essential in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial data submission.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient payment processing and collections.
• Record financial transactions by preparing and posting journal entries into the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to maintain accurate financial records.
• Administer payroll processes, including preparation and submission of payroll taxes, as well as B& O returns.
• Track and manage capital assets, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and internal reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about updates to accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in all financial practices.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000.

Requirements • Strong proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
• Expertise in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, including tax preparation and compliance.
• Experience with capital asset management and related financial documentation.
• Ability to adapt to changes in accounting regulations and implement best practices.
