Jana Chapman with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with an outstanding client to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in supporting senior leadership while contributing to the success of the entire accounting department. Key Responsibilities:

+ Handle quarterly payroll reports and support intercompany billing processes on a monthly or quarterly basis.

+ Manage and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, ensuring accurate project cost tracking, revenue recognition, and reconciliation to the general ledger.

+ Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including preparation of supporting documentation.

+ Provide backup support for accounts payable and payroll tasks as needed.

+ Collaborate on audits and contribute to special projects as directed by senior leadership

+ Process cash receipts entry and conduct bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 3+ years of construction accounting experience.

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

+ Strong understanding of GL and GAAP principles.

+ Thorough knowledge of the full accounting cycle.

+ Familiarity with Viewpoint/Vista construction software highly preferred.
