    Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this long-term contract role, you will work on designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions while adhering to best engineering practices.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and services, ensuring high performance and reliability.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-centric solutions.

    • Utilize cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, to deploy and manage applications.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system security and stability.

    • Optimize application performance through effective coding practices and monitoring tools.

    • Integrate REST APIs and other third-party services into existing systems.

    • Contribute to UX improvements by working closely with design and front-end teams.

    • Participate in Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure timely project delivery.

    • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code using GitHub and Git.

    • Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into development processes.

     

    Requirements • Strong proficiency in backend development using Java and related technologies.

     

    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.

    • Solid understanding of database management systems, including MySQL.

    • Familiarity with REST API integration and best practices.

    • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks for software development.

    • Proficient in using version control systems like Git and GitHub.

    • Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools.
