Requirements

Key Responsibilities

+ Data Architecture Development:

+ Design, create, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

+ Build and optimize robust storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake.

+ Data Integration and Transformation:

+ Integrate data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources into Azure cloud environments.

+ Develop ETL/ELT solutions and efficiently transform raw data into clear insights.

+ Performance Optimization:

+ Conduct performance tuning for data solutions and improve query efficiency using SQL, Apache Spark, and related technologies.

+ Collaboration:

+ Work closely with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, support reporting, and enable data-driven decision-making.

+ Security and Compliance:

+ Ensure data solutions comply with security policies and regulatory standards. Implement monitoring protocols using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

+ Continuous Improvement:

+ Stay current with emerging Azure capabilities and trends. Identify opportunities to further maximize system performance and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

+ Technical Expertise:

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.

+ Experience using Python, Scala, or SQL to transform and process large datasets.

+ Cloud Computing Knowledge:

+ Strong understanding of cloud architectures, networking, and storage optimization in Azure environments.

+ Problem-Solving Skills:

+ Proven experience troubleshooting complex data issues and identifying performance bottlenecks.

+ Certifications (Preferred):

+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications.

+ Experience:

+ 3–5 years of experience in a data engineering role. Prior experience working with high-demand industries such as financial services, technology, or healthcare is a bonus.
