Requirements
Key Responsibilities
+ Architecture and Implementation:
+ Design and implement robust Microsoft Fabric solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
+ Leverage Data Factory, Synapse Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI within the Fabric ecosystem to support seamless data operations.
+ Unified Data Management:
+ Develop scalable workflows for data lakehouse and direct lake architecture, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
+ Manage, clean, and transform datasets from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources to enable efficient analytical processes.
+ Integration:
+ Build integrations across Microsoft Fabric workloads such as Dataflows, Data Activator, and Machine Learning models.
+ Integrate third-party APIs and platforms into the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem for enhanced functionality.
+ Advanced Analytics Support:
+ Facilitate real-time analytics and streaming through Synapse Real-Time Analytics.
+ Partner with data analysts and scientists to design machine learning models that work across unified data repositories.
+ Security and Governance:
+ Implement Data Security, compliance, and policies using Microsoft Purview within Microsoft Fabric.
+ Ensure governance protocols for sensitive data, enabling secure and auditable data access across business units.
+ Optimization and Performance:
+ Regularly monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric pipelines for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
+ Proactively address technical bottlenecks and identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Technical Expertise:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric workloads, including Data Factory, Synapse Real-Time Analytics, Data Activator, and Power BI.
+ Solid knowledge of Azure-based services, such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage.
+ Data Engineering Competence:
+ Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes for ingesting and transforming large datasets in cloud environments.
+ Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or Scala for data pipelines and process automation.
+ Analytical Skills:
+ Ability to model complex datasets and support data science workflows.
+ Knowledge of real-time analytics and event-driven architectures desirable.
+ Compliance and Governance:
+ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview for data cataloging, governance, and security compliance.
+ Preferred Experience:
+ 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer working on cloud-based platforms.
+ Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar is a plus.
+ Soft Skills:
+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, ensuring collaboration across teams.
+ Ability to work in Agile or Scrum environments with cross-functional colleagues.
