Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing vendor transactions, and supporting overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and credits promptly, ensuring proper classification and obtaining necessary approvals.

• Monitor and record credit card transactions to maintain accurate financial data.

• Address and resolve vendor inquiries related to accounts payable.

• Complete and submit credit applications for new vendors as required.

• Schedule and post accounts payable payments while maintaining accurate records.

• Create, update, and manage vendor profiles, ensuring all changes are properly documented.

• Maintain financial records in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Generate accounts payable reports to support audits and financial reviews.

• Collaborate with international subsidiaries to maintain consistent accounting practices.

• Assist with general accounting tasks to support the department’s overall objectives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures; familiarity with Mexican accounting transactions is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.

• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software is an advantage.
