    This position will support the Evacuation Systems Industrialization team with New Product Introduction, Transfer of Work, and Industrial Engineering systems improvement projects in our New Jersey facility.

    Main Objectives:

    • To support Project and Manufacturing Engineers with New Product Development, Transfer of Work, and Industrial Systems Improvement projects.

    • To assist in introducing new product and processes into production with a focus on efficiency and quality.

    • To gain hands-on experience in engineering and process improvement in a real-world setting.

    Complementary Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Project and Manufacturing Engineers to support Transfer of Work and New Product Development initiatives.

    • Assist in planning, designing, and implementing new production processes and workflows.

    • Testing and Planning for introduction of new process equipment introductions and improvements

    • Perform CAD modeling and design tasks to support engineering projects.

    • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and integration.

    • Contribute to project tracking and documentation to ensure timelines and objectives are met.

    • Assist with knowledge management from project lessons learned and work instruction creation.

    • Analyze and suggest improvements for current production processes to enhance efficiency.

    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for project updates and reviews.

    • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience

    • 3 or more years of Engineering course work. Mechanical or Industrial preferred.

    • 3 months to 1 year of work experience with engineering or problem-solving related job functions.

    • Experience with robotics equipment and or programing a plus - Basic

    Knowledge/Skills

    • Knowledge of equipment of CAD software - Advanced

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills - Basic

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Advanced

    • Attention to detail - Advanced

    • Able to work independently and as part of a team - Basic

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software - Advanced
