    Job Description:

    Production Planning Intern

     

    The Supply and Production Planning Intern is responsible for supporting the Supply planning and Production planning function while learning the basis of supply, capacity, production, and inventory management. This includes, gathering, analyzing data to create and optimize supply, production and inventory plan that ensure customer orders fulfillment and maintenance of appropriate inventory levels. Typical duties include:

     

    + Perform data gathering, cleaning, analysis and enrichment from various data sources to support operational and planning decisions

    + Assess and identify criteria to validate the data source accuracy for future mapping

    + Evaluate different areas/opportunities to keep data integrity

    + Create reports to measure performance against process requirements and to track improvement projects

    + Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring data trend for production, shipments, inventory management, and planning dashboard

    + Ensure ERP system is up to date and functional (Integrated Business Planning SAP)

    + Conduct process mapping and create work instruction for the planning function

    + Develop positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications

    + Working towards a BS degree majoring in Supply Chain, Operation Research, Logistics, Business and Industrial Engineering

    + Detail-oriented approach to tasks and problem solving

    + Dexterity on data analysis and Knowledge of data visualization tools

    + Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and Word)

    + Experience working effectively and confidently in a team environment and Strong organization skills

    + Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a customer service focus

    + Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with attention to details

    + Able to work with multiple Associates and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

    Desired Qualifications

    + Interest/experience in the medical devices industry and manufacturing

    + Ability to taking initiative and professionalism
