JOB TITLE: Lobby Concierge Officer

PURPOSE: Sunstates Security seeks a qualified customer service professional to function as a full-time Lobby Concierge Officer at a prestigious software company in downtown Raleigh, NC. The chosen candidate would work full-time Monday -Friday. The safety & security position is designed to maximize the service, response, and communication to our clients to ensure a customer-focused, safe, and secure environment. The Lobby Security Officer must have excellent customer service and excellent communication skills. They must be able to multitask and complete all assigned patrols.

Specific Duties and Essential FunctionsCustomer service professional Patrols Emergency Response Visitor management Access control monitoring, Issuing temporary badges Clerical Duties-Update various spreadsheets

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid NC PPS (Private Protection service) card is a plus If required for an assigned account, one must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required A customer service professional with reception/lobby experience is a plus. Physical security experience with access control software experience is preferred but not a requirement. Knowledge of Windows 11, Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, etc. ), or comparable Email, Microsoft Office, etc. is preferred. Professional appearance & demeanor are critical to ensure proper representation of Corporate Security. Must be reliable, on time, adaptable, and open to new tasks as the Client’s needs evolve, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Self-motivation and detail-oriented are important qualities due to the high level of activity within the department.

Other You must be at least 18 years old, and a U.S. or foreign citizen authorized to work legally in the United States. Willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing and an extensive background check. Upon job offer, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military. Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected.

Significant activity: Frequent standing and walking periods for extended amounts of time, up to three miles per shift.
