Adecco is Assisting a Company in the Leading Manufacturing Sector: CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) - Paramount, CA

**Shift Schedule: M-F** 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

**Pay Rate:** $21-$28/hr. (DOE)

Job Summary:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for safely machining parts within required tolerances as outlined on blueprints. Under the direction of the Associate Operations Manager, this role requires a commitment to safety, precision, and effective machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Adhere to safety standards, including using proper PPE and ensuring safety features are operational.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and tooling.

+ Safely handle parts to prevent damage to people, parts, and property.

+ Maintain accurate and timely work logs, equipment maintenance records, and other required documentation.

+ Conduct pre-operational inspections and troubleshoot setups.

+ Work from shop orders to manufacture high-quality parts.

+ Organize and stack parts using forklifts.

+ Inspect parts for accuracy and quality upon completion.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams, supervisors, and management.

+ Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred.

+ Ability to read and understand CNC programs and troubleshoot setups.

+ Experience with Fanuc controls and Mori Seiki CNC machines.

+ Basic math skills, including weight calculations and the use of shrinkage charts.

+ Forklift (or the ability to obtain).

+ Ability to measure parts accurately using standard measuring devices.

+ Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment with exposure to dust and fumes.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

+ Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of metalworking processes is a plus.

+ Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
