Our Client is a dynamic, highly collaborative architectural firm providing architecture, planning, and interior design services to clients domestically and internationally. We are growing rapidly and looking for team members to lead and contribute to groundbreaking architectural projects in the areas of commercial, retail, mixed-use, science and technology, hospitality, and multi-family residential. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Architect to work full-time in our Raleigh office. This position will work closely with the firm's Principals.
Responsibilities
+ Assume the leadership role in managing the design and production of construction documents for multiple projects.
+ Provide strong presentation and interpersonal skills; proficient in interfacing with clients and consultants.
+ Detail architectural materials & systems and design envelope systems.
+ Handle construction administration, codes, and regulatory processes.
+ Engage in lab planning and equipment surveying (biology lab, chemistry lab, tissue culture, cleanroom, and vivarium) as strongly preferred.
+ Possess an architectural license as strongly preferred.
+ Use Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator proficiently.
+ Self-direct and work well under deadlines while managing multiple projects and project teams.
+ Manage junior staff and cultivate an environment of encouragement and growth.
Essential Skills
+ 7-10 years of post-graduate architectural experience.
+ Leadership experience in managing the design and production of construction documents.
+ Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
+ Experience with construction administration, codes, and regulatory processes.
+ Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficient in architectural material & systems detailing and envelope systems design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Licensed Architect.
+ Experience in lab planning and equipment surveying.
+ Experience managing junior staff.
+ Proficient in interfacing with clients and consultants.
+ Experience in mixed-use, commercial buildings, and large commercial retail projects.
+ Strong communication skills.
Work Environment
The individual will be working out of the Raleigh office. The company is in the process of building new office space in Raleigh. This is a great opportunity for an emerging Architect who will be achieving licensure in the future.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
